A Slice Of Rome is a Roman Style Pizzeria in the heart of Thornbury. Established in 2020, A Slice Of Rome aims to introduce Pizza al taglio (pizza by the slice - the traditional street food of Rome) to Melbourne combining centuries of culinary tradition and innovation.
The high hydration and 96 hour fermentation combined with a two step baking process results in a honeycombed, blistery crust and delicious airy centre that showcases the fresh seasonal ingredients on the top.
Pizzas are made to order.

If you are from Melbourne and love wood fired pizza then you know Frank. He is one of the most successful pizza makers in Australia's culinary capital and since 2012 his NeapolitanStyle Pizzeria "Il Pizzaiolo" has been a staple of Melbourne's pizza scene. Frank is not only a successful owner but like all artisans a constant learner. After years of study and research, Frank is proud to introduce A Slice Of Rome, his new concept that elevates the traditional street food of Rome into a new and contemporary culinary experience.
